Hand-Building Ceramic Workshops
Northamptonshire
Northampton And Other Locations
My hand-building workshops are perfect for beginners and more advanced students. You do not need any experience working with clay, you do not have to be arty or creative. I will teach you all the needed skills to create a beautiful piece of art. In my wonderful Quirky Bird workshop, you will learn how to design and construct a beautiful bird made with stoneware clay. It can be decorated with detailed feathers on the wings, body and tail. I will demonstrate a variety of ways to add delicate textures and mark-making. This bird is perfect to display in your garden or inside your home. Other popular and enjoyable workshops are whimsical toadstools, floral vases, Christmas decorations and full-day courses.
Who is this workshop suitable for:
Adults and children above 8 are welcome to attend. This workshop is perfect for beginners and more advanced students, those who have an artistic flair, and those who believe they do not have any creativity, everyone is welcome. My classes are small and I only teach a maximum of 10 students at a time. My workshops are filled with learning new and exciting techniques, they are also relaxed, welcoming and friendly. My aim is to help you grow your confidence and for you to walk away with a feeling of achievement.
